The frame on the mirror looks very nice and came with a plastic covering on the outermost edge that protects the finish from scratches until it's installed. The product came double-boxed, so it was very well-protected.
The rim on the cabinet casing is fairly thin metal and easily bent... one corner was already bent inward straight out of the box, but it was able to be bent back into shape. Consumer just has to be very careful when handling and installing so as to not inadvertently cause bends/warps since that edge can be seen once it's in the wall.
The only other negative is that the edge of the dark-colored frame is flush with the edge of the white metal cabinet casing; so from the side, the color difference is very noticeable (would be even moreso against a mid- to dark-colored wall since there would be a bright band of white between the frame and wall when viewed from any angle).

The finish may be metal but it doesn't look it. Fits perfectly with the oil rubbed bronze fixtures I have in the bathroom. Fast shipping too!

Bought this for a bathroom reno. Had my eye on another bronze medicine cabinet that was twice the price, and had to slash the budget. This cabinet is nice, but not as nice as the pricier cabinet. The bronze colored frame feels like plastic, and there is a little space between the frame pieces where they join at the corners. For the price, it is ok. Unless you look closely, you will not notice the imperfections.
