The only style in bigbox stores seems to be 16-inch horizontal by 26-inch vertical models. If you need the older 26-inch horizontal style, this works well. It was slightly smaller than the original and required replacement of the molding between wall and cabinet with wider molding. Overall a good item at a competitive price.

Glass doors are light weight and don't feel rugged. Steel shelves feel cheap. Door handles seem like cheap plastic. From afar, the unit looks nice, recessed and all. Close up usage, it feels delicate and difficult to get items in the middle. Not the quality I expected from the manufacturer.

Our house was built 56 years ago. In the bathroom was a 20x30 inch medicine cabinet. Today that is nearly impossible to find for replacement. This model shown here is not as sturdy as the original and with some 2x4's scabbed in everything is back to normal again. In this day and age beggars cannot be choosy. I spent many hours in stores, lumber yards and many hours on the internet. The cabinet listed here is the one and only that I could use in that hole in my wall.

Hayneedle seemed to have the lowest price and it shipped quickly; I can't fault them. Due to similarly high prices on other sites I don't believe that Hayneedle is gouging, I'm putting that blame squarely, no, make that 'rectanguarly'- on Broan. They've clearly cornered the market on this crappie old-style replacement cabinet. No one would actually choose this item if fully remodeling, would they? Quality is mediocre and Broan's markup is ridiculous.
