The mirror stands out and apart from frame so that the two pieces look like a poor marriage -- they don't relate to one another! It looks like you placed a nice frame on the wall, and stuck a frameless recessed cabinet in the center.... We would NEVER have such a ludicrous eyesore visible ANYWHERE in our home!

We love the design and quality of this product, but were disappointed that the metal cabinets didn't sit properly in the wood frames. Our contractor had to retrofit both cabinets. Also, there was a gouge in the wood of one frame, requiring wood filler to make it ready for painting.
